WSM raises over £900 for local hospice care charity

A group of seven WSM INDUSTRIES employees from our headquarters in Lancing, UK took part in a 15-mile walk to raise money for St Barnabas House, a local charity providing hospice care for people in and around Worthing, West Sussex.

For 50 years, this wonderful charity has supported patients with life-limiting illnesses, helping them and their loved ones to enjoy their time together as fully as possible by providing dignity and comfort during the most difficult of times.

Beginning during the evening of the UK’s longest day, the Night to Remember event saw the WSM team walk into the early hours of Sunday, joining hundreds of other participants hoping to break the previous year’s fundraising total of more than £68,000.

A celebratory atmosphere, with entertainment on the route and many taking part in fancy dress, helped push WSM’s dedicated walkers to the finish line and raise a total of £912 for St Barnabas House.

The whole team at WSM would like to say congratulations to everyone who took part and a big thank you to those who gave so generously for such a special cause.
